FAMILY MATTERS

The goal of the Family Matters Program is to meet our families where they are and give them the support that they need. Melting Pot Ministries sees the family unit and family engagement as a crucial element to our overall success and works to remove barriers that prevent caregivers from staying central in their child's lives.

Being called to serve at Melting Pot
Ministries looks like...

It Takes a Village

The Family Matters Program is designed to positively impact the lives of at-risk youth and their families in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh. There are four Pillars of Family Matters that support families:

Mental Health & Me

With mental health as a fundamental piece for all areas of success in life, we strive to bring focus to opportunities and resources to champion for our family's mental health.

Family & Academia Relationship

We have developed a sustainable lifestyle program to ensure we meet families where they are and give them every opportunity to reach their potential.

Family & Student Relationship

Through feedback we cultivate opportunities where our students and our caregivers can bond without judgement and improve their overall wellbeing.

Family & Community Relationship

Our focus is eliminating barriers and cultivating opportunities where our families can feel involved in their community. Ultimately we will fund specific initiatives based on the needs and goals of our families.

INTAKE FORM

The purpose of this intake form is to get a better understanding of your needs and how we can best meet them. All information is kept confidential, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out below to our Program Director Tiffany!

Meet Tiffany!

Family Matters Program Director

Tiffany, a proud Bethel Park native and Clarion University graduate, chose to raise her four children in the South Hills, where she values the strong sense of community. She believes it truly takes a village to raise a child—but also understands the importance of showing up and supporting adults as well. As the Family Matters Director, Tiffany is excited to connect with you all, meet you where you are, and build a stronger community together!
